Design of a villa for elderly people with care – at Leeflang Architectuur – 2019 built
In a small village in the east of The Netherlands there was a villa that was dilapidated for a long time. The need for living spaces for the elderly becomes more urgent and the opportunity arose to renovate a part of the buildings on this location and build a new elderly villa.
CONCEPT
To respect the demolished villa we wanted to rebuild it in its traditional architecture style, adapted to the rules and wishes of today. Behind
this villa we wanted to design a modern extension, to create an interesting contrast with the more traditional villa.
LANDSCAPE
Behind the villa and rear building there is a big green space, that will be used by the residents of Villa Nuova.
PROCES
Responsible for the design of the modern rear building and the connection with the existing
smaller white buiding. Made hand sketches and detail sketches and communicated this with the client and with the technical drawer. Also made the landscape design concept.
